Hello - I started Independence Code Consulting, because I saw a need that was not being filled. Applicants - home owners, developers, architects and contractors - needed someone to help them efficiently navigate the building permit process. We all understand that applying for a building permit anywhere can be challenging. No one would venture into dangerous territory without a guide. Let me be your guide through the Building Permit process.

I have over 13 years of Building and Zoning experience with the City of Aspen Community Development Department. I am fully certified in both residential and commercial building codes, and either wrote or assisted with the writing of several of Aspen’s zoning regulations. I look forward to using those years of experience to assist you with achieving your dreams.
